"Writing has always been a massive part of my life. Arguably, one of the biggest. Less like a hobby and more like something integral
I couldn't live without;
like an arm or a leg."
"I was a painfully strange kid, and very shy as a result. I found that the only way I could express myself with any sort of success was through words on paper, and once I started, I couldn't stop. For the first time in my life, I could feel myself... making sense. These worlds are as real to me as the one our corporeal forms reside in. I wholly believe that without access to them, a part of me would simply wither and die."
Tessa Swackhammer hails from Ontario, Canada where she resides with her equally bizarre (and supportive) family,
a trio of half-feral cats, and one spoiled dog.
She has been writing works of fiction since childhood and dreams of a world where her stories can belong to all of us, and someone, somewhere, will learn to believe in themselves through believing in her flawed, yet noble characters.
